The Making of a Man

Lies are the best truths.
My innocence turned crispy mature through it.
I followed only truth, once;
Poignance followed me.
Now I know how to tell lies.
And am a 'good man'.

Ugliness is a beauty--
It made me a man complete.
I sought only beauty once;
Received gruesome ugliness.
Now I know how to handle beauty with ugliness.
Am a 'better man' than others around.

A mind must speak its heart.
I used to do it instinctively.
Fool I had been
'Til I turned a man.
Now I know how to wind my mind to break hearts.
Am the best, you can think of.
