Black and White

Two simple colours of life: black and white; one has to know one to learn another,; one reflects all the colours and the other absorbs all.....recently am really absorbed in these two antithetical but apparently simple mystic colours.....all lights and shades are strangely defined by these two basics.

When life gets saturated with colours it chooses to take resort to the sources : either the reflective vibrant way or a very absorbed introversion. It is never a coloulessness of things, but a sublimity that only salvation matches.

The Fluid State of Education

On my way to school today, my co-passenger in a public bus was a tipsy man. He revealed in an unintended, almost soliloquized conversation with me that he has a daughter and a son and they are studying in class XII and IX respectively. He said that during his days at school, he had to go to school and thus, though he did not really want to, did learn something. But he is at a fix now as his children managed to get promoted to the next classes without attending the school regularly and learning nothing. He said though he was tipsy and talking things of no importance, he knows that the things he had once learnt at school is still earning him his bread. his question seemed to me a pertinent one as he is still wondering like many of the guardians -- has the education system in our state been drunk?
