In Changing Times in West Bengal.......(Political)

It has been three decades that the Left front Government has been reigning the throne of West Bengal and in doing so undoubtedly they have taken steps that are good, bad and ugly....after all an administration is not the GOD and therefore is never the perfect one. We must know and realize that its who works only falters and learns from his mistakes and those who do not, only are ever fixed at whatever they are.

Mrs. Mamata Banerjee has done one thing good this time that she has, with her eccentricities and emotions ruling her philosophy in politics, at least towards the second half of her long career,finally established that that way also one can uphold an opposition for which the supports are finally mounting. We can hear that in the air.

The only party without which the whole nation turns blind is still Congress (I). Be it the CPI(M) or the Trinamul Congress. Both the parties use this all india party to save teir own souls in the state though in the sate Congress (I) had long back lost its grip. so the polarization of the polling is still determined by this all-India-party.

We know well, at least those who have the visions to read between the lines in the round-table meetings of the pre-election allies, why did Mamata Banerjee fail to go with the Congress(I) and joined the NDA in the previous election. Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, who has turned a genous these days through his long experiences of oiling the right machies at the right time to keep his own wheel of fortune running, has always been a man who has always been the key.Still nothing can be done with those who hold the supreme powers.

There is no way that we can intervene into the situation though there is no one in West Bengal who does not want a strong opposition in the state, at least, to accelerate our overall improvement. We expect that Mamata Banerjee would work wise as she has shown enough compromising attitude with the negotiations of the seats with Congress (I) at the state level through the gestures of the central.

Now all we have to do is wait and see.....

Hanging on to HOPE.....

Critics and criticism, jealous and jealousy, pugnacious and pugnaciousness – all are running wild as we are advancing towards the more craved ‘Better Future’. George Michael had rightly sung that “we are hanging on to hope? When there is no hope to speak of…..” And the Hope that is remaining for us all is nothing but hypocritical.

Added are the advents of lifestyles like Nuclear families, live-together et al. More the fundamental values and the respects to the relations are shaken in the name of the rights of an individual, more the practice of different arts of less science are running rampant like Astrology, palmistry. Every individual had become lonely to fight for his or her individuality, his or her individual and psychological dependence on the powers that are largely unknown to us are increasing day by day. People at large have started to sacrifice their individual logic, education, sense and science on the alter of confiding to the powers of different stones and gems, and many other things the power of which are defined and derived only by the GURUS and no laboratory on earth can determine or measure their strange powers because they are all miraculous and heavenly ones.

May we all be blessed with such advances as our days are getting numbered towards the doomsday when we start believing with muchnof conviction that a tiny piece of gemstone imbedded in a specific metal may control the cosmic movements and thus our fates.

Japan -- The Land of Perfectionists

One of my friends had been to Japan recently to accumulate business. He has the quality of being down-to-earth to know things and when I showed interest in knowing his experience out there, his discourse revealed something that is not only strange, also shocking.

Firstly, there is an acute dearth of the youth in terms of percentage everywhere in the realm of employment. The reason is even more shocking that the expenses of child bearing and bringing up is so very high that the couples are retreating from creating the next generation. Please do not laugh at this because we, the Indians, would take another century perhaps to realize this crux of being self sufficient, and further another one for its successful execution. Even if these are taken under serious consideration, the execution still remains dubious.

Secondly it is not that because they are financially strong that they maintain an average cleanliness everywhere ones vision can explore. This average cleanliness is even cleaner than what we maintain cleanest and are contented with that.

The advantage of this race who never cries out-loud is that they are never contented with anything; they always storm their brains in making things better than they are now. Had it been some other country in Asia, a massive and inhuman massacre like Hiroshima would have left the state dilapidated forevermore. Dominating the whole world with the economic boom would have been rather a fanciful impossibility. It is worthless to spend time and words explaining how hey have achieved it.

Lastly, it had been my strongest endeavour to find out one good reason to name them bad and find out a point to criticize the race. I found none. Do you know anything about their fault as countrymen of Japan?
